In 1946, Mr. Knell was working in his father's plumbing business. He and Mrs. Knell decided to "Go West" and move to California. In March of that year, he and his wife bought a store called Ole's House of Bargains. The store had a sign that said, "We buy and sell anything that does not eat!"
Harvey Knell joins the team.
Harvey was put in charge of running the family business and brings in a whole new management team.
By 1984 Ole’s grows to 36 stores and the Knell family sell’s Ole’s and turns the profit into KCB Management.
